Matching plots with writers

I match writers who have trouble finding a plot with plot writers. A long-time journalist, I write some of the plots myself.

Arrangements are generally negotiated and range from ghostwritten to co-written. Although some cases require a cut of net, here are typical lump-sum-use cases:

  • Central plot device that won’t be used again: $1 million
  • Long-term best-seller: $100,000
  • The book that everyone reads next summer: $50,000
  • Holiday movie plot: $20,000
  • Picked up by a publisher: $10,000
  • Self-published ebook: $1,000

Once a match is made, the product is a well-written, well-plotted outline with as much or as little detail as the writer requires.
